That One Bug That Made You Question Everything

Hey DPG fam :waving_hand:

Let’s be honest, every developer has that one unforgettable moment when they spent days debugging, only to find out it was something ridiculously simple.
Mine? Oh, it’s legendary.
I was hosting my first ever website in PHP, and for two whole months, the PHP section just wouldn’t display. I checked everything, the code, different hosting service, even blamed my laptop at one point.

Guess what it turned out to be?
A PHP version conflict!
Part of my project was built on an older version, and I had updated to a newer one midway — so they just didn’t get along. The funniest part? I figured it out during a job interview, while explaining the issue! Mid-conversation, it hit me — “Wait… the versions!” :man_facepalming::joy:
So, let’s have some fun
What’s the funniest or most painful debugging mistake you’ve ever made?
Was it a missing semicolon, a typo, or something even more tragic?
