Hey everyone,
Yes, I’m familiar with Digital Public Goods (DPGs) — they’re open-source software, open data, open AI models, open standards, and open content that follow the DPG Standard set by the UN to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
DPGs must tick important boxes like platform independence, clear ownership, privacy adherence, and “do no harm” principles — basically tech that’s transparent, ethical, and built for global good.
The Digital Public Goods Registry tracks verified DPGs, so startups and projects can check if similar solutions already exist and submit their own for recognition. It’s all about collaboration and accelerating impact through open innovation.
If you want, I can share more about how these standards work or how IPAM folks like us can get involved in supporting or building DPGs.
